Personal system / public evidence

Know what it saw.Watch what it does.

Sonde is being built to turn point-in-time public information into an evidence trail first. Deterministic market claims and paper-only execution are planned next, with every action and non-action designed to stay explainable.

PAPER ONLY MILESTONE 0
01Paper only

Simulated funds, always.

02US common equities

One narrow initial scope.

03Append-only evidence

History is never overwritten.

04Deterministic gate

Risk cannot reach a model.

An instrument, not an oracle.

Market systems are easier to trust when their uncertainty stays visible.

A sonde enters an environment, samples it, and telemeters readings home. Sonde is starting with that evidence pipe; later milestones plan to carry the same trace through claims, risk, paper execution, and outcomes.

LegibilityDecisions retain direct input references and a rationale.

Non-actionsA decline is evidence too — not an omitted error state.

ProvenanceDocument bytes, facts, snapshots, and decisions have a durable lineage.

The system’s memory is its product.

Every step has an address. Every later decision can point back.

  1. 01

    Acquisition

A source request becomes an append-only attempt and immutable document.

    Now
  2. 02

    Source Facts

Parsers retain typed facts, their source clocks, and direct document lineage.

    Now
  3. 03

    Candidate Snapshot

Each evidence or policy transition forms a snapshot instead of overwriting history.

    Planned
  4. 04

    Signal / Decision Packet

A prospective claim freezes typed inputs and rationale at the decision cutoff.

    Planned
  5. 05

    Planning / Risk

Readiness, planning, and a deterministic gate explain proposals and declines.

    Planned
  6. 06

    Alpaca paper order

The paper venue records intent, fills, reconciliation, and exceptions.

    Planned
  7. 07

    Outcome

Signal, execution, and realism outcomes remain distinct and write-once.

    Planned

Separate truths, deliberately.

One chart cannot tell this story without hiding the important parts.

Milestone 2

Signal

The prospective market claim: next-session open to horizon close, including untraded signals.

Milestone 4

Execution

What the paper broker actually filled, held, and reported — never substituted for the signal.

Milestone 5

Realism

A versioned estimate for paper omissions, kept separate from broker and signal truth.

Milestone 6

Analyst outcomes

A later pinned analyst is forward-scored in sealed epochs, not backtested.

There is no hidden “trust me” layer.

01

Deterministic planning and risk

The gate is side-effect free and cannot import the analyst runtime, a venue, or network clients.

02

Paper venue only

Alpaca is a future paper venue. Moving to real capital requires a new architectural decision.

03

Immutable evidence

Attempts, documents, facts, snapshots, decisions, orders, and outcomes are append-only or immutable.

04

Hostile documents are data

Public source text is treated as attacker-writable data, never as instruction for the system.

05

Private cockpit

The operations cockpit is authenticated and loopback-only. This public site exposes no live state or controls.

Current work is intentionally small.

Milestone 0 makes the pipe visible before the system is allowed to decide.

0

Pipe

EDGAR and delayed SIP evidence, stored and visibly traced.
